Minimum

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 4, 2026

Minimum is built so your habits stay yours. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Minimum has no account, no ads and no third-party analytics, and we never sell your data. Only two kinds of information leave your device: anonymous usage analytics (see Anonymous usage analytics) and your purchase history, handled by RevenueCat (see Purchases). Neither is linked to your identity.

What stays on your device

Your habits, logs, reflections and settings are stored locally on your iPhone and shared only with Minimum's own widgets and Apple Watch app on your devices. Product counters (for example, how many times a habit was logged) are also kept locally and are never sent anywhere. Your habits, logs, reflections and Health data are never part of the anonymous analytics below.

Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, Minimum reads steps, workouts, mindful minutes and sleep to log the habits you link and, if you allow it, to offer a Minimum Day after a short night. Minimum never writes to Health, never sends Health data off your device and never uses it for advertising or marketing. You can revoke access anytime in the Health app → Sharing → Apps → Minimum.

Goal suggestions

When you describe a goal, the suggestion is generated on your device (with Apple's on-device model when available). The text never leaves your iPhone.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push server is involved.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store; Minimum never receives your payment details. To confirm what you bought and restore it on your devices, the app shares an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history (App Store purchase receipts: which product, when, and whether it is active) with RevenueCat, our subscription provider. This data is not linked to your identity, is not used for tracking, and is used only to provide your purchases and aggregate subscription analytics.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand how the app is used and improve it, Minimum sends anonymous product-interaction events to a database we operate on Supabase, our cloud provider. Examples: the app was opened, an onboarding step was viewed, the subscription screen was shown, and a purchase was started, completed or cancelled.

Each event contains the event name and short labels (such as a step name), the app version, your device language, a random identifier created when the app is installed, a per-session identifier and an anonymous Supabase sign-in that is not tied to any account. Events never include your habits, logs, reflections, Health data, name, email, contacts, location or advertising identifier.

We use this data only for analytics. It is not linked to your identity, is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. Deleting the app deletes the random identifier; reinstalling it creates a new one.

Children

Minimum is not directed at children under 13 and collects no identifiable personal information from anyone.

Data deletion

Deleting a habit removes it and its history from your device. Deleting the app removes all of its data.
